Another update 5-19-26: I am two weeks post surgery, so I am slowly getting life back to where I want it to be. Long story short, I had some huge fibroids that were affecting my quality of life, so I’m thankful I had a wonderful surgeon to remove them. As for books, I did start on my second one last October after a falling out with a friend (things have been repaired though yay); the book is another non fiction one, but this one will focus on helping others recognize and break free from toxic situations based on my experiences with narcissist family members, dangerous ex bf, emotionally abusive childhood bestie and sister, etc. I’ve also learned what attunement is this past year and that is going to be in my book as well because if you attune with someone who doesn’t have a secure attachment style, you could get hurt (I did, but I grew and ended up stronger in the end). Attunement is a beautiful thing, but it’s very powerful. Attunement without boundaries can lead to a lot of confusion and heartache, but with proper understanding and boundaries it is one of the most intimate ways to connect with someone because you both are “seen”. Sidenote, nervous systems are wild because attunement has to do with the NS. Hang on, I’ll have a lot more to share on the NS.
Last year my husband and I also had a life changing thing happen to us that has caused permanent injuries, but I’m not allowed to disclose details until I’m given the go ahead. It was hard on top of all the other things, but I also believe it happened for a reason because I met a lot of people i never would have crossed paths with otherwise. 32 was an intense year but I learned so much about myself, such as confirmation that I’m Autistic and have ADHD. 33 so far is off to a good start with things looking up and my favorite time of the year, pool season, is about to begin. Hopefully soon I’ll get to blogging again, as well as resume writing my surviving abuse memoir. I’ll be in touch take care!
8- 18-25: Sorry to be MIA. A lot has happened this year, both good and bad. There have been some life-changing events, including the addition of two sweet kittens to our family. I will share more about them soon, and I also have some blogs coming up, as well as info on my next book that I will begin writing soon. God bless and talk to you soon 🙂 ~~ August 18th, 2025

update March 2 2024: Hello everyone! Sorry for the delay in publishing; my sister was really sick in January for weeks and was in the hospital. I had to put my book on hold because we feared things could take a turn for the worst with my sister and I was at the hospital all day every day. By the grace of God she has been released from the hospital and is getting stronger each day. After she was released from the hospital I was able to work on the final touches of my book and I am thrilled to tell you that my book will go live Monday March 11 2024! It will be available in both for purchase in both eBook and paperback formats, and I will post the link for pre-ordering as soon as receive it from Amazon! Thanks for being patient and I look forward to sharing my story with you!
update November 2023: Hey everyone! I hope you’ve been wonderful! I just wanted to touch base to mention that my book, When a Christian Meets Chronic Illness, will be released January 2024! I’m so thrilled to be so close to sharing my encouraging story with you and publishing my first book. Check back frequently for updates on release date and be sure to subscribe for notifications. Also, this past July we welcomed another Pomeranian, Tallulah into our home. I will post some pictures below. It’s been a great year so far and I’m looking forward to ending it strong and for celebrating 2024 with you all.

update May 2023: Hey everyone below is a video of my garden a month later. Still have a lot to bloom but it’s beautiful. Book first draft is 90 percent written and is coming along nicely. God is good all the time.

When a Christian Meets Chronic Illness
My first book is a devotional that focuses on life through the perspective of a young adult with chronic illnesses. Throughout my story, I share the highs and lows, uncertainties, and unexpected blessings. I hope that by sharing my story, I can encourage others who also are living with chronic illnesses, as well as share with the world what is like to live in my shoes.
Meet the furbabies 🙂
I am a huge animal lover, especially when it comes to dogs. Here are my babies: Milky Way (Mikki) the black and white Pomeranian, Mabel (Mae Mae) the black and tan Long Haired Chihuahua, Petra the cream colored Dachshund Chihuahua mix (we think), and Coconut (Coco) the chocolate Pomeranian. Check out my blog for cute and inspiring stories about them. They are some of my biggest blessings! Update: Welcome Tallulah, a white Pomeranian, to our pack! She joined the pack this past July 2023.

Passion for travel, people, dogs, writing, and Jesus
I love to travel whenever I can and I love getting to know people wherever I go. Everyone has a unique story, and I love to hear it. Dogs are a huge part of who I am because of the unconditional love and companionship they share with me. I just love their sense of humor, their personalities, how cute they are, and that they are always by my side no matter what. Both my college degrees are in Journalism and Communication Studies so I think I like writing just a little bit ;). I don’t just write because I enjoy it though, I write to put a smile on people’s faces and to encourage them. Last, but not least, Jesus is the reason I get up everyday and I owe my everything to him. I hope the love I show you reflects the love Jesus himself has for you!

Why I love Pomeranians
I love all dog breeds, but the Pomeranian is my absolute favorite. I love how they dance and spin whenever they see you or are expecting treats. I love how they like to wear clothes and will lay on their backs like a teddy bear in your lap. I love how happy they are and how they are eager to please. I love their tenacity despite their small stature: they love to go for long hikes in the warmer months. A lot of people know they are barkers, and it is true they do like to bark, but not all of the time. They just are special to me, especially my Mikki because she is my service dog. I am so thankful God gave us dogs 🙂
